LoadRunner is a paid tool by HP to test performance of an application/website etc. Its been widely used in companies. Performance of an application is becoming necessary these days because almost all companies is trying to create presence online. Its kind of a mandatory to do performance testing for E-Commerce websites or any site which has high incoming traffic. If in case, end user faces any issue with the website loading time or in any online transaction, they will not prefer to come back again. So, everyone wants to test performance of their site. There is another open source tool available which is becoming very famous i.e. JMeter.
